Associazione E was established in 2004 thanks to the joint efforts of Francesco Ragazzi and Francesco Urbano. The core of the couple opens itself to relational dimensions different every time, which lead to a work sensitive to the impersonal. Listening, the gift, the invitation and the proxy are the principals on which a series of collective artistic operations are founded. Through a discovery of new forms of patronage, the artistic and curatorial practice converge one into the other, and a policy of the project takes precedence over those of the individual works and authors.
